In my view, he’s one of the very best at understanding the technical elements associated in Uber suggest. Is, uh, it’s his tool. You can use it for free. So I thought as a topic, we would, um, just choose sort of the, to go meta and to choose the topic, um, of, uh, you know, AI, uh, tools for marketers.

[00:01:27] Live Demo_ 5 Ai Tools To Make You A Super Human Blogger: hey everybody, in this week’s Podcast, we’re going to do something different. I’m going to do a live demo of 5 AI tools that will help make you a superhuman blogger. I’m going to describe them, describe how to use them. We do a little case study through it and Michael will come along for the ride, ask questions and.
[00:01:47] He’ll have a front row seat on the magical mystery tour bus and it should be a good time. So Michael, are you ready for this crazy shenanigan? Yeah, I am looking forward to this. Also, I will try and do the magic via audio podcast or video. I will describe what we’re saying. Um, so let’s start off with what we’re saying.
[00:02:05] Can you describe what we’re saying? And before we even get into that, I guess we ought to define the topic. Superhuman blogger sounds cool, obviously. Um, First question is that, you know, blogs are even, are they even important these days still? I mean, why is this important? Yeah. For, well, for most e commerce operators, one of the best sources of long term traffic is a high quality, uh, long form blog article.
[00:02:28] And those blog articles stack up over time to present your ideal users with lots of wonderful information that they find in many places around the internet and certainly not just Google. Uh, and that content. Is, um, uh, a beautiful lead magnet for your ideal prospect coming to your e-commerce site. So I think, uh, blogging is more important than ever.
[00:02:49] Um, and, and I think good quality really in-depth articles are super helpful for, um, all, you know, learners. Product buyers or service buyers, um, people, uh, want to be educated about what they’re doing and get answers to, uh, questions that they’re wondering about, uh, when you provide those answers to the questions, you put yourself in the pole position to be the person that they look to for.
[00:03:14] Additional services, products, et cetera. So I think blogging is super important and that’s why we’ve been working in our mastermind group and our, and with our clients on using AI tools to radically, radically, not only improve, but also, um, make it much faster time spent on blogging. So whether you’re doing this work yourself or you have a team, uh, that serves you with blog content.
[00:03:40] I would highly recommend just listening to this and then, you know, sharing this with your team, uh, so that you can, uh, you can get really, really good at blogging with these tools. So the five tools I’m happy to mention, or I can reveal them one at a time as we go along. Let’s do it one at a time. It’s more exciting, I think.
[00:03:55] Just one thing I would just mention is if you want to get the content on video format might be, might be useful, then best to head over to AmazingFBA, uh, YouTube channel. I will make sure I put it up there. At, um, what’s it going to be? YouTube. com forward slash C for such amazing FBA, just so you’ve got access to that.
[00:04:11] If you need it, we’ll also put it in the show notes as well over at the e commerce leader. com. So there’s a couple of places to get it. Yeah. So what’s our first tool? Let’s plan. Let’s, let’s start at the beginning, which is to do a great blog. You have to have a high quality keyword or key phrase that you want to really focus in on.
[00:04:28] And that, uh, you know, that phrase. Uh, or keyword is the heart and soul of what you’re trying to create content around. It’s the beating heart and the better the traffic associated with that key phrase, um, the better your blog is going to do, obviously. So I thought what we would do is, um, use one tool. To, uh, to mention this idea and to demo demo it.
[00:04:53] And then I’ll use maybe if this one fails us, I’ll use the second tool. Um, but we’re going to get into the second tool anyway, regardless. So, but the tool we’re looking right now on the screen is I wouldn’t call an AI tool. It was kind of predating. The AI craze that kicked in about six months ago, but nonetheless, it’s a fantastic tool for, um, for key phrase research.
[00:05:14] Um, and that is Uber suggest by Neil Patel. I do consider Neil Patel to be the world expert on blogging.
[00:05:45] That’s the phrase I thought we would blog about AI tools for marketers. Is that too meta or should we pick like the world’s best chocolate bars or bunny rabbits? I’m happy to go for AI tools for marketers. Um, the only thing that strikes me, and this is where, you know, your experience and your expertise in SEO is going to show more than mine.
[00:06:02] I’m very bad at SEO because I treat it like a podcast. And, and it’s not the same medium. So, uh, is that not a scarily competitive term to go for? How come, how do you see, do you wanna go for, ’cause there’s always that balance between high search volume, which is good, and how competitive it’s gonna be to get ranked somewhere meaningful in Google or wherever else.
[00:06:21] So how do you make that kind of decision? Um, you know, the thing that’s hard about, um, Low competition or high competition is there’s a reason low competition. Key phrases are easy to rank for because no one’s looking, you know, and so the question is, is that helpful to you? Like, wow, I’m number 1 for this phrase that only I use.
[00:06:41] Uh, you know, is that really going to do anything? And so high competition key phrases are. Um, nonetheless valuable, even though they’re competitive because of course high volume and that’s kind of like the same advice you give to a product seller on Amazon. You’re like, well, you know, there’s a reason people sell vitamins is because people buy vitamins and, you know, it is intensely competitive at the same time.
[00:07:05] If you can find an angle, find a niche, find a, you know, an entry point into the market, then maybe going after a high competition, uh, product is a, is a good idea. And the same logic I think applies to key phrases. So, um, but anyway, you asked the question, um, is this a competitive phrase as it happens, according to Neil Patel, AI tools for marketers is got a super easy paid difficulty and the search volume is negligible, like hardly anything, nothing at all.
[00:07:36] But the nice part about Uber suggests is it gives you alternate ideas. That are, and it, it scatter, you know, like a shotgun approach to other key phrases around the idea. And they give you ones that do have higher, uh, uh, rank in terms of tr, you know, traffic. Um, and so, um, so this set that we’re looking at, the one that’s ranked highest in terms of volume, uh, is AI tools for business, not AI tools for marketer.
[00:08:03] And as it happens, AI tools for business has 390 searches a month Now, is that good? It’s, it’s relatively low. Um, but will it grow over time? I imagine it will given the state of the AI, you know, space we’re in. So that’s the top one. Now it’s paid difficulty is a 40 out of a hundred and it’s search difficulty is 57.
[00:08:28] So it’s not free space. You know, it’s not uncontested space. People are trying to rank for that phrase. Um, and so, but you can see this list. The 2nd 1 down is AI tools for making money or AI tools to make money AI tools for small business. AI tools in marketing examples, or AI in marketing examples. Free AI tools for affiliate marketing.
[00:08:53] So it goes down and down and down. We could poke around in Ubersuggest for as long as we want and find a higher traffic phrase if we wanted to do that and take the time. Um, there’s another alternate tool you can use though that I really, really like and that’s called perplexity. ai. And I’ll switch [00:09:10] to that on the screen here for those who are looking.
[00:09:12] And I love this tool because just to give context. If you’re familiar with chat GPT, then you’ll be familiar with the fact that chat GPT lies to you, just make stuff up sometimes like whole cloth, just totally like fictitious, like it’ll just, you know, hallucinate. Uh, but perplexity. ai is trained to take chat GPT data, but then to apply another, uh, uh, you know, training set to it, which is.
[00:09:41] Is it true? Can you cite your source? Where do you get the information from? So perplexity gives you answers that are, are cited, you know, they, it can kind of document that it’s, it’s not lying to you. So, um, you can plug in, for example, in perplexity. ai, a question like which keywords or phrases have the highest search volume per Google trends and similar sites for the topics associated with AI tools for marketing.
[00:10:08] So that was my prompt. I just did that a minute ago. And, um, and it says based on the res on the research results, the following keywords and phrases have high search volume for the topic AI tools for marketing. And the 1st, 1 that it suggests we use is a power tools for marketing and tech interesting. Uh, and then the 2nd, 1 was top a tools for marketing.
[00:10:38] So you get the idea. I mean, we’ve got, we’ve got some, some examples here. We can use uber suggests at best. 1 was a tools for business. Perplexities is AI powered tools for marketing and tech. Now, maybe what we do is we take that phrase, AI powered tools for marketing and tech, and we add in the word business to it.
[00:10:57] And then you’d kind of be hitting on all cylinders. You’d get the top Ubersuggest phrase, and you’d also kind of have woven in the, the top perplexity. ai phrases. Okay, and perplexity. ai is totally free. Just go and start using it. It’s my preferred tool more than ChatGBT if I’m being honest, but I’ll talk about ChatGBT in a moment.
[00:11:20] So are you with me so far, Michael? We’ve got a key phrase for around a topic and we’ve kind of vetted the one that we think is going to be the best that we’re going to go forward with. So we’re going to go for AI powered tools for marketing and tech. Is that right? Yeah, and I’m going to slip in the word business in there because that’s what Uber Suggest is saying is, uh…
[00:11:39] Is, is a, is a hot one, you know, as a top one, so I think I can get the best of both worlds. At this point, I’d be worrying and doing a lot of research and possibly going around in circles for no good reason. This is very interesting to see somebody else do this because I tend to worry that’s not a high enough search volume keyword.
[00:11:56] And then I bounce back to getting for shorter search volume keywords. And that’s a bit competitive and it’s hard to square the circle. So you’re, you’re just going, right. This is good enough. Let’s get cracking. And what’s your thinking behind that? Well, yeah, it’s a good, it’s a good question. Um, I would say this.
[00:12:09] If you’re, let’s say you’re a newspaper writer on a deadline and you have to submit your article every day at 3 PM, you know, you can, you can spin your wheels as long as you want to find to your point, a better, you know, key phrase, one with a higher traffic, but if you’re, if you hold yourself to high accountability in terms of the actual work of blogging and you say to yourself, I have to have this done before I leave the office today.
[00:12:36] Okay. Then you’re going to impose your own reality on how long you’re willing to cogitate because it, and if you don’t, what you’ll do is I’m just going to leave this and think about it and I’ll work, pick it up tomorrow. And that’s the kind of sloppy crap, uh, you know, activity postponement that most e commerce operators allow themselves to do.
[00:12:56] Cause they don’t have a high accountability. Um, but if you are being paid to publish, or if you demand of yourself, or if you demand of your team. Hey, this has to be posted and done before we leave today, then, you know, you’re going to put a little bit of good, effective stress in the system, and you might spend 10 minutes doing your key phrase.
[00:13:17] You know, sorting, or you might just say, you know what, I’m going to trust perplexity or I’m going to verify what perplexity is saying, uh, for five or 10 minutes and then move on. You know, let’s have a look at what perplexity is saying, talking in which, cause that is a reflection, refreshing change from the chat GPT.
[00:13:32] Let’s make stuff up. Which we’ve all experienced by now, the hallucinations, as they politely call it. I don’t think you call it that with a human. You wouldn’t say, I think you’re hallucinating, my dear sir. You probably just say you’re lying. It’s interesting. The cited source it gives you as a LinkedIn post.
[00:13:50] So that’s interesting. It’s justifying it’s, Oh, but look, it’s got, it’s got, this post has charts. So, okay. I don’t know. Um, it’s, it is a 10A tools for deep XP personalization and optimization. It is, it is citing a source that does have relevant, interesting, uh, content, uh, and a beautifully done post as well with.
[00:14:15] Uh, Dolly images and interesting stuff. Okay. So, so anyway, so to, to soothe your inquiry needs, we’ve clicked the link here. We clicked one link. It’s funny. You’re not having a pretty good approach to the keyword, but listen, you’re getting it done and I go around in circles doing excessive amounts of, of, uh, Uh, research, which in certain contexts, like if you’re buying a business, that level of due diligence is really, really important.
[00:14:38] And that’s why I applied it literally the other day for a client of mine, and then did some really deep dive commercial due diligence on Amazon business, but, but obviously I have the habit of applying that to everything. So yeah, it’s how much we’re not, as we would call it here. Yeah. With your, with your commentary.
[00:14:53] Well, we’ll take, and let’s move on to the next step though. Right. Yeah, indeed. Which would be the next tool that we would use. We’ve already used a. you know, perplexity for one thing, which is this question of, um, AI powered tools for marketing and tech. So I’m going to just stay on perplexity for a moment and I’m going to spin up another prompt and I’ll do it this way.
[00:15:16] I’ll, I’ll, I’ll take the phrase that it gave me that it said was a, was a, you know, high traffic and I’m going to turn, I’m going to ask perplexity to give me, uh, 10. Recommendations for blog, uh, topics associated with that phrase. So I’m really, I’m going to go deeper in now to really get to a more granular level in terms of actual blog topics or, you know, content.
[00:15:42] So, so I’ll just, the prompt I’m writing is please, uh, provide, uh, 10 blog article ideas for the phrase. AI powered tools for, and I’m going to put it in business comma, marketing and tech. That’s my phrase. I want it to do 10. Article ideas for, and the reason I’m doing this is because I’m really want, I really want to make an article that’s interesting and I want to write an article, I have an article that is really, you know, compelling.
[00:16:17] And so I’m rather than going nerd out all full force on the phrase itself, I’m going a little bit nerd out on the ideas for a topic for the article, you know, that’s where I’m spending a little bit more time because that’s sort of the. You know, sell a sizzle type, uh, you know, language from the old copywriting days, you want to have something that’s an interest.
[00:16:40] Two readers. And that’s where I’d rather focus than just the straight key phrase, you know? Okay. So I just asked it that question and it gave me a list of 10, uh, article ideas. Uh, and the first one is the top 15 AI tools for marketers in 2023. Okay. That doesn’t exactly, uh, you know, but these are ideas, right?
[00:16:59]
[00:17:47] Live Demo_ 5 Ai Tools To Make You A Super Human Blogger: it’s just, it’s, it’s throwing spaghetti at the wall. How AI power tools can help your business grow. Number three, the benefits of using AI tools for marketing set number four, 17 powerful AI marketing tools. You have to try in 2023. Uh, so you get the idea. It’s giving me these phrases. And so then what I’m going to do is say, well, um, this is an interesting thing.
[00:18:09] Um, but I’m not really satisfied by these cause it feels like it’s So I’m going to reprompt it and I’m going to do a different approach. I’m going to say,[00:18:20] uh, please give me a list of the top 10 worries, fears, and concerns, small business owners. Are expressing related to AI tools. Now, this is a different whack at things.
[00:18:43] Obviously, you can see where I’m going with that is that I’m trying to see if there’s a pain, right? Yeah, something that exactly right. Exactly right. Because, uh, and so obviously you can do this over and over. You can come up with any angle you want. I could do, uh, one that’s more positive based in this.
[00:19:01] This is obviously more fear, worry and concern based. So. So let’s, and I might even beef it up a little bit by, um, by saying, uh, based on recent. Uh, authoritative articles and, uh, online posts. Please give me a list of the top 10 worries, fears, and concerns. Small business owners are expressing related to AI tools.
[00:19:28] Will it give me something? I don’t know. Let’s find out based on recent authoritative articles on online posts here, the top 10 worries, fears, and concerns small business owners are expressing related to AI tools. Number one, job displacement and increased unemployment due to AI driven automation. That almost, that, that feels to me like there’s a, um, how can I put this as a Hinterground of a lot of articles like that, that have pre kind of sown the seeds Or prepared the ground for people to be willing to click on something like that.
[00:19:59] It feels like, uh, more of a compelling headline somehow to me. Maybe that’s because I read too many fear driven news articles recently around this. LinkedIn is full of them, for example. You’re saying they speak to me a bit more. I mean, AI seems to be full of, um, such either sickeningly positive, boring corporate stuff, or this is more like a news outlet kind of thing, you know, so it depends on who you’re trying to attract, I guess.
[00:20:24] It’s interesting, isn’t it? It’s a very subjective thing somehow, uh, because obviously the name of this. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay. And it’s an interesting, what about you? What, what speaks to you more? Well, how would you notice that on the, um, On the name of this podcast, I just pulled it off the top of my head, five AI tools to make you a Superhuman Blogger.
[00:20:47] Mm. So that implies a direction that we would go in, right? So yes, indeed. You know, we’re, we’re all, we’re kicking around this whole idea of what’s the right blog article, um, for this. But, um, but you get the idea here. I’ll go with a negative one, um, since it speaks to you . Um, so if you read too many, uh, apocalyptic news articles, maybe about this, not that many, but somehow, yeah.
[00:21:09] Um, so, um, just pick, I’m going to look for 1 that we can take the next step with. Um, let’s say lack of skills to support AI initiatives. That’s a pretty badly. That’s not an interesting topic. That’s very corporate language. But I mean, I mean, to honestly, the first one, um, increased unemployment due to AI, I mean, I would simplify the actual title.
[00:21:30] I mean, job displacement, increased unemployment sounds very corporate language somehow, doesn’t it? But. Yeah. So, so this leads us to the next tool. So the phrase that we were going to camp on is this, this, this blog article idea, job displacement and increased unemployment due to AI driven automation. So I’m just going to take that phrase.
[00:21:50] Or I’ll shorten it down, you know, so, uh, Unemployment is increased unemployment due to AI driven automation. That sounds pretty iffy now, but here’s the thing. Um, this AI, um, perplexed AI recommendation didn’t give me any, um, qualitative review of that, um, headline idea or that article idea. And there’s actually an AI tool that’s awesome that allows us to get better, uh, what you might call technical data associated with headlines and that’s called headline studio.
[00:22:21] So I’m switching that to that headline studio. I make a big use of that. That’s that’s really helpful. Yeah. Headline studio is super great. So I’m switching to that 1. I’m going to throw in. The headline is my starting point, increased unemployment due to AI driven automation. Now, that sounds like a matter of fact that we, you, if you read that, you would think there was like a cited source of, uh, like an authoritative article, like increased unemployment due to AI automation.
[00:22:50] Like, you’re going to answer that by saying. The, you know, Department of Labor came out with a study and found 92% of people have been laid off, you know, so, yeah, so that’s sort of a problem. So maybe what we do is, um, how to how to avoid.
[00:23:11] I noticed we’re going quite a long way away from, um, business owners or marketers. So I wonder if we can pull that back in, don’t we? How business owners can avoid unemployment.
[00:23:33] Jobs, not unemployment. Yeah, quite like that. So I just typed in the starting phrase, how business owners can create jobs, not unemployment with AI. Driven automation. So, you know, is that a good, I think AI is, is punchy, but you know, with these things, so you’ve got to get the right length and you’ve got to get the power words in with, um, headline studio, right?
[00:23:57] You’ve got to get emotional drivers. Let’s see how that is. The drum roll, please. And this of course is to your point, uh, uh, a bit, um, a bit far afield from our original commentary that we looked at, uh, which was, you know, the question. Uh, AI tools. It’s not associated with AI tools for marketers, but it’s not part, I think it answers the same basic point though, how business owners can create j not unemployment.
[00:24:20] With ai, I, I mean, yeah, it’s an ing it’s a different angle, let’s put it that way. Okay. So if you’re not familiar with Headline Studio, the way this works is when you enter your headline, it’ll score it with a headline score overall, and it has a bunch of factors that it uses to make the score, uh, word balance, word count, character count, headlines, uh, type.
[00:24:40] Uh, grade level, sentiment, clarity, that kind of stuff. Um, and so it tells me on screen here what it’s, what I’ve done that it likes. It’s helpful or constructive. For example, how business owners can create jobs, not unemployment with AI. It has a positive sentiment, right? Um, it doesn’t have a listicle, uh, nature to it.
[00:25:01] Like most, uh, good articles these days online have six ways. A business owner can create, you know, that would be an alternate. So this is ranking this headline. Nonetheless is a 77 out of. 100, which is actually a good score out of the gate. Um, but I think I can get it better. So I’m going to change it a bit to say, uh, 5 ways business owners can create jobs, not unemployment with AI.
[00:25:27] Now, the current score 77 when I ask it to grade the new change that I just made. It goes to 84. I knew it would because it likes listicles So the new headline is five ways business owners can create jobs not unemployment with ai That’s an 84 out of 100 and that’s a pretty darn good um headline studio score I could refine it more and more and try to get it up higher than 84.
[00:25:54] But for the sake of time I’m going to just call that good, you know, and now, and by the way, it’s sorry, I was just going to say, I think really, really important learning from this for myself and anyone who’s perfectionist like me is just like how brutal you’re just getting on with it. And I think that’s really important.
[00:26:10] I’ve done in the past. I have done. According to some kind of training I’ve received from pretty good people, but I’ve ended up doing so much keyword research and never got around to writing a damn thing. That’s refreshing change opposite extreme. Like a literal, I spent ages. I know hours, I mean, several days of full time work on it last summer.
[00:26:30] And then somehow I’ve created the foundations. Like I literally, I’d done the equivalent of digging a hole in the ground and then I hadn’t produced anything. So it’s fairly, um, Obvious, but getting it done is really critical. I’ll shut up now and let you get it done.
